Navratri is a prominent festival of hindus. The nine day fasting followed by dussehra or ram navami at end, this festival comes twice a year. During these fasting some people live only on water while others eat only fruits or sago. Also, during these 9 days it is as ritual to feed 9 young girls once as they depict the 9 forms of goddess durga. This food is called navratri ka khana.
