Ramzan is a very important festival for the whole muslim population of the nation. Eid al-fitr marks the end of the ramzan month. After the one month ramzan fast, a whole range of delicious ramzan recipes are servved on the day of eid. These recipes of the ramzan cuisine are very delicious as well as healthy. These recipes contain a large no. of recipes made from mutton or goat meat.

There are a number of ramzan recipes. All these recipes are very tasty and nutritious. Some of these ramzan recipes are traditional while some others are innovative. Combining traditional recipes with a bunch of other ingredients, better recipes can be created. Ramzan recipes are a combination of persian, arabian, pakistani and some mughlai recipes.

Ramzan recipes mainly include recipes like biryani, kebabs, kheer and mutton recipes. Some of the traditional recipes are dukkah, falafel, shaksouka, baba ghanoush, fattoush, chicken biryani, harira, couscous, duck fesenjan, etc. Also, there are ramzan urdu recipes like kofta kebabs, kafta, lamb gravy or khoresht fesenjan.

Also, there are innovative ramzan recipe like sambusha, kebab massalam, prawn malai curry, shawarma filo rolls, chorba bayda, ash-e-jow, lemon thyme lamb chops, tabakh rohoo, etc. There are more such recipes like romali kebab, kurkuri kaleji, kisir, mantwo, shish grilled chicken, beef samosa, mahalabia and chorba freek wa djaj.

Kheer is a very important delicacy during ramzan. Ramzan kheer recipe is called sheer khurma and is made of sevaiya or vermicelli and milk. Besides the simple kheer, ramzan special kheer recipe is essentially the same as sheer korma but with dates and other nuts. Besides this, phirni is another popular ramzan dessert.
