- Barley Powder - 1/2 Cup
- Moringa Leaves - 2 Sprig
- Pepper Powder - 1/4 Tbsp
- Salt as per needed
- Ghee - 1 Tbsp
- Lemon juice - 2-3 drops
- Water as required
Take barley seeds and made it into a fine powder in a mixer, make sure there is no any granules of barley in that fine powder.
Now mix the barley powder with water and wait for sometime for better dissolving.
Take 1/2 cup of young moringa leaves, boiled in water for 10 minutes after that extract stock water and keep aside to cool down.
Heat a pan with spoon of ghee and made it heat for some time in a low flame.
Pour soaked barley powder mixture. Make sure there is no lumps.
Once barely cooked and color has changed, add stock water of moringa. Mix well without forming the lumps.
Add salt as per needed, mix well until the salt dissolves.
Add black pepper powder and desired seasonings to the mixture and made it boil for some time in a low flame only.
If we want the soup thick don’t pour water in it. Or else we want the soup as very liquidly means pour some water in it and blend well. Boil for 5 minutes in a high flame.
Before serving the soup, squeeze 2-3 drops of lemon juice in it.
